Human-Animal Bonding

by Mollly pet

The bond between animals and human beings is very old. Right from the prehistoric days animals are a part of human’s life. Dog is considered as first non-human friend of mankind. During ancient age people used to keep dogs, because of their usefulness in hunting. Later they developed some kind of bond together. Further, along with the progress, other animals like cows, horses, goats, lambs and other pet animals became a part of our daily life. So, the relation between man and animals is very old.

Our pet animals are the best companions of loneliness. They love their masters without any selfishness. These days, people tame various kinds of animals. Some animal lovers are very passionate about dangerous animals. They love to have pythons, tigers, and other dangerous animals in their homes. But Cats and Dogs are the most popular choice globally.

A dog is unbeatable when it comes to faithfulness, they are multipurpose, and they can be our good friends, they can serve human being as watch dogs, and police dogs or they can be a companion for our kids during their lone or leisure time. Kids develop a strong relation with pets. The reason is that in form of their pet, they get a friend, a companion for playing in house, a mate with whom they can cuddle.

Pets help kids in developing some sense of responsibility. The world is very fast these days, and it’s tough for parents to manage proper time for their kids, because most of the time they had to engage themselves in their office works. Kids feel loneliness in such cases, here pets are helpful. Kids can forget finishing up their school homework, but they cannot forget feeding their pet, or pet’s morning and evening walks, or routine bath or grooming of their pets. This kind of responsibility is helpful for kids in long run. It helps them enhancing their personality. The same case applies with senior citizens; pets can be a better friend and companion for our elder people too.
