Greeting Card Printing: Send Out a Spirit of Savings and Shopping

by carla san gaspar

With all that money changing hands this Christmas, be sure you’re part of the action. Make sure your prospective clients remember your business.

Let the nearing holiday season be the perfect time to remind them of your goods that are the perfect as Christmas gifts to loved ones, friends or for themselves.

Everyone is in the mood for spending. Imagine your prospective clientele, walking around with money to burn. Employees are looking for the perfect gift with their Christmas bonuses. Employers are busy filling up Christmas baskets for their employees. Entrepreneurs are busy looking for Christmas giveaways, and like you, are busy looking for ways to bolster their own marketing.

Make it your marketing strategy to get flow with the Christmas frenzy. Aim to be at the top of the consumer consciousness in this busy season. Send potential clients a greeting card, with well-wishes for the coming season. Send cards along other marketing materials that give them a complete list of your goods and services.

Better yet, send your love to your loyal customers with Christmas discounts and promos. There is no better place for your advertisement to be than beside your regular client writing his wish list.

Refine your greeting card advertisement with the following tips:

1. Pique your customer’s interest by making the card personal. Address clients in warm and friendly manner. Don’t be a stranger.

2. If you want to observe subtlety, don’t print logos or slogans. It’s a dead give away that some customers might find annoying without even opening your mail.

3. Catch your client’s interest with a funny Christmas cartoon. Maybe a picture of Santa Claus lining up in your shop holding a credit card. The chance of your customer keeping a funny greeting card is higher than a sentimental card with landscapes.

4. If you want to cater a larger audience, promote a sense of sensibility by using Christmas themes that do not exactly patronize any particular religion. Greet them with the words Season’s Greetings or Have a Happy Yuletide Season.

5. Use the greeting cards to establish or cement customer relations. Send your well wishes, then introduce your business to prospective clients, or thank repeat clients for their loyalty.

6. Reward customers with a Christmas “gift”. Give regular customers a give away item or membership cards. Entice new customers with discount coupons, promos, or stickers. Provide a deadline for your promo to create urgency. It gets your clients to take action faster.

7. For local businesses, it would be a good idea to include your contact details, and a location map of your business on the back. Your marketing would have been a waste if your clients don’t know where to find you.

8. But most importantly, your operation or business hours should be included. This is especially true since it is the nearing one of the busiest shopping seasons.

Best of all, direct-mail-advertising is now inexpensive and hassle free. There are printing companies who also offer to mail these cards for you. You simply have to supply them with the names and addresses of your target clientele, and they will take care of mailing them for you. And these greeting cards can be printed cheap. A thousand pieces full-colored, high gloss greeting card can be had for as low as $120.00.

Make greeting cards a gift for your business this Christmas. Build your customer relations, and watch your business grow, on and off-season. Contact your greeting card printing company as early as today.
