Make Friends on MySpace

by PaulG

MySpace is THE social gathering of our generation. With over 24 million unique hits in October and growing, MySpace is here to stay. If you were like me, when you first started you were all excited about the prospect of making a ton of new friends and possibly a showing everyone how cool you are. You were determined to make friends on MySpace. You probably spent a few months browsing through all the people in your area built your circle of friends to a respectable hundred or so. Maybe even connected with some old friend you haven't talked to in a while. But me, I wanted more. I wanted thousands of people checking out my profile every day. I wanted people that I didn't even know to send me comments and messages. I felt this was a great way to really get to know what kind of people actually used MySpace.

Unfortunately, as any work does, it started to get tedious and boring. Browsing through all those profiles, having to manually click through them, and then have the friend request sit unanswered for days or even weeks. Trying to make friends on MySpace seemed to be harder than I thought. I would see all these profiles with thousands of friends and hundreds of comments. Then I realized, that's what I wanted, the excitement of logging in every day and finding tons of new friends and messages waiting for me. At this point, I had so many things that I wanted to share with people. A new layout, cool music, great pictures, but I was baffled as to why people weren't just adding me as a friend. Even some of my closest friends had hundreds of other people sending them comments and messages every day. Then one day my friend told me about a type of program that works for you helping you to make friends on MySpace. These programs were MySpace friends adding programs or friend bots such as Badder Adder. He currently uses a program just like this to help promote his website on MySpace. So far, he has increased his hits by 800%!! I was shocked, but he explained that he would gain around 500 friends every day. Through these friend adding programs, he was sending bulletins and comments automatically to every one of his 4500 friends at a push of a button. I realized that this was the way I would be able to easily make friends on MySpace. I could even send every one of my friends a comment at the same time. I was skeptical at first, who wouldn't be. But then I realized that most of these programs are free to try, and after trying it for just a few days I was hooked. I'm even getting great comments from some really interesting people that like the same bands and sports teams that I do. From that initial two hundred; I now have well over two thousand friends and growing daily. I've met a bunch of cool people, and had some really great conversations with more than a few. It feels great to log in and see that "New Messages, New Comments" on my page all the time, and it's now so easy to make friends on MySpace. Now I can easily leave funny comments and news to all of my friends with the click of just a button.
