Today's technology is at its prime nowadays, with the introduction of great electronics like ipods, the PS3, xbox360, and the new Ninetendo Wii. But, not everyone can afford these things. It upset me that I could not afford these awesome items, that is, until I discovered "freebie sites."
One legit way to make money or earn free gifts on the internet is via freebie sites. They are becoming more and more popular nowadays. I first discovered freebie sites around July of 2005. I was always getting spam emails about getting various items free, such as ipods, televisions, or gift certificates to various retailers and restaurants.
I always figured that these were just scams and that no one in their right mind would give away these things for free. I decided to research these so called "freebie sites" in order to determine if any were indeed legit.
Once I learned how these sites worked, it became clear as to how they could send you free gifts. This is basically how a "freebie site" is constructed. The owners of these freebie sites, such as http://www.toys4free.com/VeryFreeAndReal , are affiliates for several companies. These companies pay the affiliates for any traffic the affiliates bring to that company. Affiliates then take a portion of the money you generate for them by signing up for trial offers for companies or products and then buy your free gift with the money.
First off, you need to sign up at the freebie site with valid information; otherwise you won't be able to receive your free gift. Once you are signed up, you are required to sign up for an offer of your choice, in order to get "credit" towards your gift. These trial offers are available for various companies, such as Blockbuster, Netflix, AOL, various free trials of diet pills, Video Professor, etc...and the list goes on and on. Offer prices can range from anywhere to completely free to a few dollars for shipping and handling of the trial products.
After you successfully complete an offer, you need to get a few of your friends to sign up and complete an offer also. I usually get my family or friends to sign up. I also discovered a website in which you can "trade" referrals with other people online who are working towards getting free items as well. This site is http://www.referralswapper.com/?r=1516 . I have gotten tons of referrals from this website.
So, as you can see, these free items may not always be completely free. But for paying a few dollars for to try out trial products, and get a free item, such as an ipod or PS3, who can pass that up! To this day, "freebie sites" have sent me several things: video ipods, ipod nanos, ipod shuffles, paypal cash, Kodak digital camera, RAZR phone, and I even have a new Nintendo Wii on the way! J
