I Write an Ebook

by MANOJ KUMAR MITTAL

Absolutely! The fact is there has never been a better time to write an eBook. According to Forbes magazine and Peter Drucker, we have already entered into the information era. With the world around us rapidly changing, so have values and perspectives. It is now a brand new world with brand new problems and questions. More and more people are searching for answers as to how to fit in with these changes. Anything from adapting to self help in this era of new age thinking is being 'googled' on the net every day.

Now you may ask yourself 'Do I have what it takes to write an ebook?' The answer is of course. Keeping in mind that we all walk different paths in our lives it stands to reason that everybody possesses knowledge and perspectives that are also uniquely different. This is the very premise upon which we defer to the elderly for their wisdom. Based upon their age alone they've already had a multitude of experiences hence the wisdom. By tapping into your own you can provide either useful information or perhaps the value of intrigue or entertainment thru your perspectives and lessons learned.

Why eBooks? Firstly ebooks are relatively inexpensive to publish. If you were to publish a book thru more conventional channels your expense would be much greater due to the cost involved in manufacturing a physical product. In addition you'd have to consider promotional and distribution costs not to mention the politicking involved getting your book published in the first place.

Digital publication is a faster process and the ease of distributing your product, even on a global basis, in conjunction with the low cost involved can't be ignored.

As stated earlier, more and more people are turning to the internet to seek solutions and information. People today unlike ever before have less time to 'shop around' and as a result have come to depend upon the World Wide Web to supply much of their needs. It stands to reason therefore that there is a need for more eBooks to satisfy the growing number of searches.

Assuming you market on the internet another advantage to writing an eBook is it can be a very powerful way of promoting your business. The book can be sold, given away, or even broken down for use in an email series as an e-course. This will help boost your recognition amongst readers as an expert in your field thereby enhancing future marketing efforts.

You don't need to be a best selling author or PhD candidate to write an ebook. People want information they can easily read and understand. They want it fast (digital delivery) and made convenient (internet) to fit their busy lifestyles, so take up your pen, or in this case your keyboard., and share what you know or have experienced. Both you and your readers will benefit.
To your writing success!
