Connecting mobile to PC made easy

Most people find it really hard to connect their mobile phones to PC. Yes, this has been the most difficult task for them. However, you would find this task really easy if you understand some of the basics of connecting mobile phone to PC. This way, you can easily transfer your favorite ring tones, games and date between your mobile and PC. Here are some superb tips to make the task of connecting mobile to PC easy for you:

a) Understand connecting Capabilities
First and foremost, you need to understand the connecting capabilities, of your mobile phone. Here, you need to recognize different possible ways your mobile phone can get connected to other devices. Some of the most common ways of connecting include Bluetooth, cable connection and Infrared. In order to connect mobile to PC, at least one of the above mentioned connecting modes should be present in your mobile phone.
b) For Bluetooth enabled mobile
If you have Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, you require the following materials:
i) Bluetooth Dongle for PC
ii) Bluetooth enabled phone
iii) Mobile’s software such as PC Suite
The Bluetooth dongle is an electronic USB device that’s connected to your PC. Thereafter you can receive and send all sorts of Bluetooth signals via your PC. Here, you need to connect your Bluetooth Dongle to your PC and then install its driver. Thereafter, you must switch on the Bluetooth reception of your mobile phone so that you can easily send Bluetooth signals to your PC. Now, run your installed PC software for that mobile phone you desire to connect. You are ready to send Data from PC to your device.
c) For Infrared Enabled Mobile
If you have infrared enabled mobile phone, you require an infrared dongle for PC, infrared enabled phone and a mobile software such as PC suite. Infrared dongle is an electronic USB device that facilitates your PC to send and receive infrared signals. This is a device that acts as a bridge between your mobile and PC. First, you need to turn on infrared reception in your phone. Now, connect infrared dongle with your PC. Here, you require to align your device in a horizontal position with your infrared dongle in order to get connected to your PC. This is the time to open your mobile PC software to start communicating with your phone.
d) For mobile data cable
You require a mobile’s software such as PC Suite and connecting cable. A mobile data cable is usually provided with your mobile phones when you purchase them. Sometimes you even require to purchase this cable. It works towards acting as a connecting medium between your mobile and PC. It transfers electrical signals from your phone to your PC.
You can connect this cable at serial port at back of your PC. You may even connect it at USB port. Try connecting on end of cable to your mobile and the other end to your PC.

Now, it’s time to run your mobile PC software and start communicating with your mobile and send games, ring tones and themes.
