First of all, there is nothing wrong with seeking first date advice. This article will help you identify the people who know what they're talking about, who to listen to, and who NOT to listen to when seeking advice for a first date.
Don't Take Dating Advice From People Who Can't Document Their Success
My first bit of advice I want to share with you, is something I learned from a mentor about 5 years ago. That is "don't take advice from someone who can't back up what they say". In other words, if they don't have what you want, ie, have the dating success that you want for yourself, then dont take their first date advice. Plain and simple!
You'll find lots of dating websites, and other websites that have tons of advice about women, getting laid, or whatever. I've found through the results from my own clients and associates, that most of these sites that offer first date advice for men really don't come from a position of success. Therefore they don't know what they are talking about, or they simply rehash what they heard from a friend or in an internet forum.
Before taking anyones advice about a first date, consider a few more valuable points:
Do they have clients that are successful with women? Are they a part of a social network of other successfull dating gurus or experts? Do they have a website that has first date advice for men that includes personal testimonials from satisfied customers?
Paying attention to these things will save you lots of time, frustration and disappointment, and will prevent you from making a total fool of yourself on a first date.
In closing, my biggest piece of first date advice for men is filling your brain with knowlege. The girls can wait til' you're ready, and you'll be greatly rewarded!
